LAWRENCE, NINA H. 

Nina Belle Hatcher Lawrence, 78, a native of New Orleans, a former resident of 
Franklin and a resident of New Iberia for the past three years, died Wednesday, 
February 28, 2007 at the New Iberia Manor South Nursing Home.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by two sons, William Lawrence and his wife, Betty, 
both of Carencro, and Theo Lawrence and his wife, Nancy, both of Houston; two 
daughters, Connie Bonin Varuso and her husband, Jack, both of Harvey and 
Georgette "Jody" Rodriguez and her husband, Rene, both of Baldwin; eight 
grandchildren, Chad Landry, Kevin Bonin, Nicole Bonin Meunier, Ryan Lawrence, 
Rebecca Lawrence, Wade Rodriguez, Randi Rodriguez and Jaclyn Rodriguez; and 
three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gerald Lawrence; one daughter, 
Gaye Landry Faulkner; three brothers, Richard Hatcher, Eugene Hatcher and Rudy 
Hatcher.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, March 3, at 
the First Baptist Church in Franklin from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Paul Vandercook officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
