LOCKHART, VIOLET B. 

Violet B. Lockhart, 102, a resident and native of Morgan City, died Friday, May 
18, 2007, at 9:10 a.m., at her residence following a long illness.

She is survived by two daughters, Irma Lockhart and Lucy Edwards, both of 
Morgan City; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be observed Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Jones 
Funeral Home Chapel in Morgan City.

Funeral rites will be held Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home. The Rev. 
Ezekiel Simmons III will officiate. 

Entombment will follow in the Morgan City Mausoleum.

The Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
