All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= LOFLIN, RAYMOND Mr. Raymond Loflin, 84, a resident of Horatio, Ark., and native Winnsboro, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 at his residence. He was born Oct. 17, 1923 to William and Mattie Jewel Loflin. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in Temple City, Calif. For more than 20 years before he retired from Brake Meyer Transport and moved to Horatio to live out the rest of his years among his family and friends. He was a member of the Teamsters Union for more than 30 years. Mr. Loflin was preceded in death by his parents, seven bothers and one granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Barrington Loflin of Horatio; one son, Raymond Dale Loflin of Horatio; one daughter, and son-in-law, Kathy and Curtis Reynolds of Horatio; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Evis West of Monroe, Florence D. Smith of Monroe, and Lovie and Donald Boutwell of Kingwood, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews as well as extended family Joseph and Penny Reynolds and their three children, Rustin, Hannah and Paul Aaron, which he loved as his own grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.L. Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22 at the funeral home. ===================
