MADISON, JAMES 

James "Minnow" Madison, 82, a resident and native of Franklin, died Sunday, 
Sept. 23, 2007, at 8:25 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital following a short 
illness. Mr. Madison was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his spouse of 54 years, Laura Bell Mitchell Madison of 
Franklin; four sons, Keith (Roteila) Madison of Los Angeles, California, 
Kenneth J. Madison of Beaumont, Texas, James (Lorenza) Madison of Lafayette and 
Jeffrey (Rachel) Madison of Franklin; four daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Laura M.) 
Wiggins of Lafayette, Mrs. Ronald (Lois M.) Demby Sr. and Linda M. Madison, 
both of Franklin and Mrs. Keith (Loustella M.) Hebert of Morgan City; 18 
grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives 
and friends.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Triumph 
Baptist Church.

Funeral rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church.

The Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
