MAYON, EGBERT, SR.

Funeral services for Mr. Egbert Mayon Sr. will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007, 
at 3 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin. The Rev. Joe Sauce and the Rev. 
Bobby Hodnett will officiate the service.

Mr. Mayon was a native and lifelong resident of Charenton. He was 65.

The family requests that visiting hours be held Wednesday at Ibert's Mortuary, 
from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and again Thursday from 8 a.m. to time of service.

Mr. Mayon is survived by his wife of 45 years, Amanda Sauce Mayon of Charenton; 
two sons, Egbert "Bert" Mayon Jr. and Randy Mayon, both of Charenton; one 
daughter, Paula M. Doré of Jeanerette; two brothers, Linwood Mayon and Edward 
Mayon, both of Morgan City; one sister, Mary Blanco of Morgan City; and two 
grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Dore' of Jeanerette and Devin James Mayon of 
Charenton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonce John Mayon; his mother, Octavia 
Verret Nope; three brothers, Edgar, Harvey and Lennet Mayon; one sister, 
Annette Mayon; and one granddaughter, Monique Nicole Dore'.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
