MCDANIEL, MARY ANN 

Mary Ann "La" McDaniel, 64, a resident and native of Franklin, died Monday, 
Oct. 8, 2007, at 10:30 p.m., at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia following a 
long illness.

She is survived by two sons, Lester (Regina) Levine and Kenny McDaniel, both of 
Franklin; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Carla) Lee of Lafayette; one brother, 
Kearney (Patricia) McDaniel Sr. of Franklin; five sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Hope) 
Broussard of Lafayette, Mrs. Richard (Anna M.) Burgess of Verdunville, Golden 
M. Charles, Mrs. Alvin (Sandra) Burrell and Mrs. Kenneth (Jackie) Clark, all of 
Franklin; and 17 grandchildren.

Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters 
and one son.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, from noon to 3 p.m., at the Jones 
Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.

Funeral rites will be read Saturday, at 3:30 p.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 
The Rev. Noah Smith will officiate. 

Entombment will follow in the Franklin Mausoleum.

The Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
