MITCHELL, DELAWARE 

Ms. Delaware Mitchell, 66, a resident and native of Franklin, died Saturday, 
Oct. 13, 2007, at 3: 10 p. m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette 
following a short illness.

She is survived by one son, Steve Edwin Mitchell of Baldwin and his fiancée, 
Mary L. Key; two brothers, Ulysses Mitchell Sr. and Rev. John C. Mitchell, both 
of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Curley Rankins of Franklin; and one grandson, 
Steve Edwin Small of Franklin.

Visitations will be observed Friday, from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m., at the Otis 
Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Friday, at 1 p. m., at the mortuary. The Rev. Ulysses 
Mitchell Jr. will officiate. 

Interment will follow in the Charity Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations
