Chabert Hospital in Houma following a short illness. She is survived by her companion, Elton Henry of Patterson; stepfather, Wilbert Moneaux of Jeanerette; two sons, LaShown J. Phillips and Eric J. Phillips Jr., both of Baldwin; two daughters, Joy Anne Dauphine and her husband, Jules, of Jeanerette and Nunique P. Washington and her husband, Terry, of Baldwin; five brothers, Willie Clark Jr. and his wife, Gail, of Jeanerette; Paul Clark and his wife, Loretta, of Franklin; Jimmy Gibson and his wife, Ruth; Tony Gibson Sr. and his wife, Monica; and Irvin "Blue" Jones, all of Baldwin; seven sisters, Brenda C. Caesar, Margaret Faye C. Coleman, Greta G. Francis and Stacy Ann Gibson of Baldwin, Pauline Clark Brown and Mable G. Williams of Houston, Texas, and Beverly Kay Jones of Patterson; five stepsisters, Melba M. Edwards, Stephanie M. Allen and Denise M. Gage of Jeanerette, Lisa Gray of New Iberia and Gevena M. Colar of Beaumont, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers. Visitations will be observed Friday, June 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Special Providence Church in Baldwin. Burial rites will be read Friday, at 7 p.m., at that church. The Rev. W.J. Otis will officiate. Interment will be Saturday, June 16, at 10 a.m., in the Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin. The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations. ===================
