PROVOST, KAREN D. 

Miss Karen D. Provost, 48, a resident and native of Baldwin, died Tuesday, 
December 4, 2007, at 11:45 a.m., at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia 
following a short illness.

She is survived by her mother, Hazel M. Bowser Provost of Baldwin; five 
brothers, Ronald Keith Provost Sr., Kim Provost Sr. and Damon Provost of 
Baldwin, Raymond Provost Jr. of Franklin and Mark Provost of New Orleans; three 
sisters, Paula Stevens of Port Arthur, Texas, Debra Charles of Jeanerette and 
Robin Clark of Baldwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives 
and friends.

Visitations will be observed Monday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the 
Crossing Place in Franklin.

Burial rites will be read Monday, at 2 p.m., at that church. The Rev. Brad 
Bullock will officiate. 

Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
