Cynthia LaCombe Ramirez, 63, a native of Franklin and resident of Algiers, La., passed away on Oct. 13, 2007. Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her sons, Jeffery Clyde Ramirez and Robert Andrew Ramirez of New Orleans and Samuel John Ramirez and his wife, Stacy, of Birmingham, Alabama; her mother, Aleene Durio LaCombe of Franklin; two sisters, JoAnn Mendoza and her husband, Brad, of Youngsville and June La- Combe Pusateri and her husband, Joey, of Franklin; one brother, Albert James La- Combe and his wife, Nancy, of Lafayette; one sister-in-law, Sue LaCombe of Franklin; and many loving nieces and nephews, David, Paul, Tanya, April, Ben, Nick, Jesse, Katie, Seppe, Gionni, Maria and Bella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Ramirez; her father, Albert La- Combe; and one brother, Richard Albert LaCombe. Mrs. Ramirez was Miss St. Mary Parish of 1962. She was an associate member and executive board member with the Marianite Sisters of Holy Cross and Friends of the Library of Our Lady of Holy Cross College and was a devoted friend and volunteer of Arden Cahill Academy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St. in Algiers. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m., at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Algiers. Entombment will be in the Lakelawn Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Ben La- Combe, Nick Mendoza, Seppe Pusateri, Paul LaCombe, Jesse Mendoza and Gionni Pusateri. Honorary pallbearers will be David LaCombe, Brad Mendoza, Joey Pusateri and Albert LaCombe. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Marianite Sisters of Holy Cross in Algiers. Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
