Richard Sr. February 18, 1926 May 01, 2010 Augustan "Bud" J. Richard Sr. a life long resident of Morgan City passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Bud was a Korean War Veteran who enjoyed woodworking, drawing, painting and of course fishing. Bud loved to have a good time with family and friends and will be missed. Bud is survived by his two sons: Augustan J. Richard Jr. and his wife, Cathy of Morgan City, and Carol "Junior" Barr and his companion, Kelcie Soirez of Morgan City; two daughters: Sherry Snyder and her husband, Stephen of St. Bernard and Carol Hewitt and her husband, Aldon of Amite; one brother, Herman Richard and his wife, Mary Lou of Bayou Vista; 19 grandchildren, including Crystal Richard Griffin, Trish Richard Bijeaux and Nicole Richard Dinger; 27 great grandchildren, including Kirsty Richard, Logan Bijeaux, Noah Dinger, Zachary Dinger and Emma Bijeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Theothile and Hattie Daigle Richard; wife, Lola M. Richard; one daughter, Linda Landry; one grandson, Augustan J. Richard III and three brothers: Lee, Joe and June Richard. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 3, 2010 starting at 6pm until 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home and will resume on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 10am until 1pm with a funeral service starting at 1pm. Bud will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be preformed at the funeral home at 12:30pm. ===================
