GROS, DANIEL JOSEPH 
May 31, 1952-May 12, 2010

Daniel J. Gros, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away in River Ridge 
on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the age of 57.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors. He was a 
commercial fisherman for many years.

He is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Hernandez, Anna Belle Miller, Linda 
Daigle, Doris Bergeron, Shirley Alleman, Rita Gros, Gertrude Scully, Lorraine 
Stott and Patsy Blanchard; and his brothers, Junius Gros and Villary Gros. 
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Aurleain and Bernice Gros; his wife, 
Tosella Gros; a sister, Anna Mae Hymel; and three brothers, Linberg Gros, 
Wilbert Gros and Lourie Gros.

Daniel's visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, until services at 
Hargrave Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. 
Daniel will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with funeral 
expenses.
