JACKSON, EDDY 

Eddy Jackson, 52, a resident and native of Jeanerette, died suddenly May 4, 
2010, at 10:59 p.m., at Iberia Medical Center.

He is survived by his father, John Jackson Sr. of Jeanerette; six brothers, John 
Jackson Jr. and Gil Jackson, both of Jeanerette, Craig Jackson of Alexandria, 
Clay Jackson of Sorrell, Dale Jackson and Ted Jackson, both of New Iberia; and 
six sisters, Katherine E. Jackson, Margarete Jackson and Eliza F. Jackson, all 
of Jeanerette, Ruby L. Clarkston of New Iberia, Rita Jackson (Key) of Broussard 
and Bonnie F. Jackson of Arlington, Texas.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the 
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Paul Godfrey officiating. Lafayette Crematory is in charge of remains.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
