Lillie and her late husband Dan owned and operated Hebert Trucking since 1971. Lillie Mae was a giving and kind lady, her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family, Lillie loved doing for others, and in return she asked and expected nothing. Lillie Mae leaves behind to cherish her memories, Jim her companion of six years, of Amelia, her three brothers; Luther Edward Dickerson, of Amelia; Amos H. Dickerson, of Ill. and Thomas L. Dickerson, of Savannah, Tn. also her three sisters; Margret E. Soto, of Morgan City; Jane Clark, of Morgan City and Julie Snyder, of Kerrville,Tx. She is also survived by her grandson George Zebrun III, of Alto Pass, Il. and her granddaughter Danielle Nicole Romero, of Kerrville, Tx. and her 1st cousin and best friend Jena Glasgow, of Houston, Tx. along with numerous nieces, nephews , other relative and friends. Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her parents Luther Elbert and Flora Mae Dickerson, her daughter Lois Jane Hebert Romero and her Husband Navy Chief Dan B. Hebert. Visitation will begin on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Hargrave Funeral Home at 9.00 am until 2.00pm. Funeral services will be held in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel begin at 2.00 pm. Lillie Mae will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
