LASTER, LUCIUS, JR.

Mr. Lucius Laster Jr., 69, a resident and native of Franklin, died Wednesday, 
May 5, 2010, at 11:22 p.m., at Franklin Health Care Center following a short 
illness.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Boatmon Laster of Franklin; one son, Ronald C. 
Welton Jr. of Modesto, CA; two daughters, Adrianne D. Roberts of Houston, Texas 
and Marna C. Trujillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two brothers, Willie Rack and 
Harry Johnson of Franklin; one sister, Celia Pierson of Memphis, Tennessee; and 
two grandchildren.

Mr. Laster was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the 
Otis Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. 
Preston Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery in 
Franklin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
