Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1005.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Ibert's Mortuary at 1:00 PM for Mr. Paul Alcina, 79, who passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 4:45 PM at his home in Franklin. Interment will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. Father Thomas Vu, of St. Jules Catholic Church, will officiate the services. Mr. Alcina is survived by one daughter, Laura Brasseaux and her husband, John, of Ozark, AR; three brothers, Murphy Alcina of Franklin, Mack Alcina of Franklin, and John Alcina of Charenton; two sisters, Ann Gerarve of Metairie and Frances Chauvin of Charenton; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol "Sis" Thibodaux Alcina; daughter, Carol Ann Alcina Boudreaux; son-in-law, Kenneth "Cannonball" Boudreaux; father, Francis Alcina; mother, Eve Martin Alcina; and two sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Thursday, May 6, at Ibert's Mortuary from 10:00 AM until time of service. The rosary will be prayed at 12:45 PM.
