JOHNSON, SARA MAE 

Mrs. Sara Mae Gibson Johnson, 67, a resident and native of Baldwin, died 
Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 6:10 a.m., at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital in 
Lafayette following a short illness.

She is survived by companion, Wybro Jack of Jeanerette; and three sisters, 
Mercedes Gibson of New Orleans, Emma Dell Gibson Johnson of Baldwin and Mable 
Gibson Williams of Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and 
four brothers.

Visitations will be observed Sunday, May 9, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Otis 
Mortuary Chapel and also on Sunday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Special 
Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.

Burial rites will be read Monday, May 10, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the 
Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence 
Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
