Luara Bartley, age 84, a native of Morgan City and a resident of New Orleans, 
died Friday, May 28th at her residence.

Visitation will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on 4th St. Morgan City, 
Friday, June 4th, from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial in the Morgan 
City Cemetery.

Luara is survived by a son; Robert Bartley of Seattle, Wash, a daughter; Lucille 
Singleton of New Orleans, two brothers; Earl Bartley of Morgan City and Ernest 
(Carolyn) Bartley of New York, four sisters; Rosa Stewart and Patricia (Gilbert) 
Ramagos both of Morgan City, Albertha August of Jeanerette and Gertie Anderson 
of Grand Pairie, Tx., a sister-in-law; Amy Bartley of Morgan City and two 
grandchildren, Nathaniel Singleton and Charnette, a host of relatives and 
friends.
