DUVAL, JIMMY, SR. 63
August 10, 1946 - May 27, 2010 

Jimmy Duval Sr., 63, a resident of Bayou L'Ourse and native of Morgan City, passed away at his residence Thursday, May 27, 2010. Jimmy loved the outdoors, especially going catfishing. Jimmy also liked to dance and have a good time with his family and friends.

Jimmy is survived by wife, Yvonne Duval of Pierre Part; his fiancˇe, Lorena Broussard of Bayou L'Ourse; two sons, Jimmy Duval Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Pierre Part, and Bruce Duval of Pierre Part; three brothers, Jerry Duval of Colorado Springs, Colo., Donald Duval of Stephensville, and Irvin Trahan of Patterson; four sisters, Gladys Richardson of Stephensville and Agnes Foret, Alberta Lee and Maria Estelle, all of Bayou L'Ourse; two grandchildren, Benjamin Landry and Nicole Crochet; and two great-grandchildren, Paige and Raven Carline.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Ozema Fred Duval Sr. and Servellia Alleman Duval; three brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City. Jimmy was laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
