Mr. Gaddy is survived by his wife, Judith; two sons, Robert George Gaddy and his wife, Cathy, of Chandler, Ariz., and Charles Paul Gaddy and his wife, Adrianna, of Dallas; and a daughter, Kay Gaddy Arceneaux and her husband, Dirk, of Stephensville; his grandchildren include Robert's children, Keith and Rene; Charles'children, Kristen and Bella; and Kay's children, Christina and Joshua. He was blessed with seven beautiful great-grandchildren. George proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He retired after working many years in the oil field with Mobil Oil Co. and served as a Deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church. His love for God and family made George a loving husband, a wonderful father and a doting grandfather and great-grandfather to his six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. George enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, tinkering (he could fix anything), riding his bicycle in the neighborhood and telling a good joke. Mr. Gaddy valued learning and provided a college education for each of his three children. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. George will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
