Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1006.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mrs. Aline Pontiff Gaudet, 69, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin died, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 5:15 a.m. at the Physician's Alliance Hospital in Houma. Mrs. Aline is survived by her husband, Milton Joseph Gaudet Sr.; three sons, Milton Joseph Gaudet Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Baldwin, Galen Thomas Gaudet of Franklin, and Mark Jude Gaudet of Ponchatoula; one daughter, Jenny G. Scelfo and her husband, Kenny Sr., of Franklin; two brothers, Murphy Pontiff Jr. of Franklin and Paul Pontiff of Baldwin; five sisters, Carol Battaglia of Franklin, Barbra Born of Houston, TX., Linda Richard of Morgan City, Helen Jones of Urania, and Fay Rice of Houston, TX.; seven grandchildren, Kenny Scelfo Jr. and his wife, Amy, Jason Gaudet and his fiancˇ, Dashia Morris, Shannon Gaudet, Megan Scelfo and her fiancˇ, Billy Handy, Jarett Gaudet and his wife, Jill, Brooke Scelfo Marcotte and her husband, Jeremy, and Matthew Gaudet; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; Murphy John Pontiff Sr., and Bessie Boudreaux Pontiff; one daughter, Sharon Gaudet; her brother, Keith Pontiff; her father in law, Edwin Gaudet Sr. and her mother in law, Erimese Abshire Gaudet. The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 6pm to 9 pm at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin with a rosary being prayed at 7p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 2nd at 9am until time of dismissal at Ibert's. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 2nd at 11am at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin with Father Lloyd Benoit officiating. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. ===================
