Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1006.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Blane Gianfala, 46, a native of Franklin and a resident of Baldwin died, Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. Blane is survived by his wife, Natalie Rodriguez Gianfala of Baldwin; one son, Bailey Philip Michael Gianfala of Baldwin; his mother-in-law, Elaine Rodriguez of Ashton; two brothers, Gordon Gianfala and his wife, Sonya, of Carthage, TX., and Chad Gianfala and his wife, Jill, of Baldwin; one sister, Missy Gianfala of Baldwin; numerous nieces and nephews; one great niece and great nephew; and one beloved pet, Patches. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Wanda Barrilleaux Gianfala; his twin sister; Lyndra Gianfala Broussard; his paternal grandparents, Taps and Angeline Gianfala; his maternal grandparents, August and Jeanne Barrilleaux; his father-in-law, Philip Rodriguez. The family requests that visitation be observed Friday, June 25, 2010 from 9am to time of services at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 25th at 1pm at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin with Father Gregory Cormier officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to AAA Hospice and Dianne, Tiny, and Joanie. A special thanks to Mrs. Vel Minor for her care of Blane during his battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests the donations be made to alleviate funeral expenses.
