Olive was a remarkable lady. She loved her life and tried to make the best out of every day. She enjoyed taking care of her family and making sure they were all safe and secure. Olive was an administrative assistant at Lakewood Hospital for over 23 years. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and attended Mass faithfully. Olive will be sadly missed by all those left behind to cherish her memories. Olive is survived by one son, David G. Broussard and his wife, Cheryl, of Morgan City; David's children, Majella B. Bailey and her husband, Jimmy Jr., Nicole Daigle and her husband, David, and Lesley Lapeze and her husband, James; her daughter, Sheila Pierron McDonald and her husband, Bill, of Idaho; Sheila's children, Whitney Pierron, Wesley Pierron, Johanna Goudeau and her husband, Keith, and Josh Pierron; and her daughter, Sharon Aucoin of Morgan City; and Sharon's children, Kirn Aucoin, Jarrod Aucoin and Tara Aucoin. She is also survived by two brothers, Melvin Blanchard, and Terry Blanchard and his wife, Anita; and one sister, Joyce Greenhaw; 20 great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Aline Blanchard; her first husband, Gustive Broussard; her second husband, Ray Hebert; one sister, Ella Mae Bonnett; one grandson, Wilden Pierron; and a great-granddaughter, Ali Rose Aucoin. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Friday, June 4, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the church. Olive will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Hargrave Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. ===================
