RODRIGUE, LANCE P. 
October 22, 1960 - June 11, 2010 

Lance P. Rodrigue, 49, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, due to sustained injuries from a motor vehicle accident in Morgan City. 

He was at Ochsner Extended Care Hospital in Kenner.

Lance was a man after God's own heart. He loved the Lord and gave his life to Christ years ago. He was a mechanic for Morgan City Rentals and was a wonderful provider for his family. He was a long-time member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church. He was a man with a true servant heart; whether it was arriving early to operate the sound room at church or a need in his church family or community, Lance was always willing to go beyond what was asked. Lance would have given you the shirt off his back. According to his granddaughter, Breanna, Paw could do anything.

Lance leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Amanda "Mandy" Rodrigue; daughters, Lana Mason and her husband, Alvin, of Berwick, and Jamie Guillot of Berwick; his father, "Tiger" Rodrigue and wife, Chris, of Berwick; his mother, Mary Ann Rodrigue of Bayou Vista; sisters, Lindsay Billiot of Berwick and Jillian Rodrigue of Kansas; his grandmother, Admonse McElroy of Bayou Vista; and his granddaughter, Breanna Guillot of Berwick.

Lance was preceded in death by his brothers, Lindsey Jr. and Don Paul Rodrigue; and his grandparents, Dalton McElroy, and Louis and Eldonia Rodrigue.

A Celebration of Life service was held at Bayou Vista Baptist Church on Sunday, June 13, 2010, and a Going Home Celebration was held today, Monday, June 14, 2010. He was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. 

Hargrave Funeral Home was in charge of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made for medical expenses to the M C Bank account in the name of Lana Mason for Lance P. Rodrigue.
