Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1006.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Maria Trainer, 81, born Klagenfurt, Austria, and a resident of Gibson, passed away and has gone to join her beloved Cecil on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her residence, after a lengthy illness. Maria is survived by her daughter Alana D. Duval (Bourgeois); her son John L. Sons and his wife Jill; two stepsons Allen Trainer and his wife Emerite "Put", and Larry Trainer; eight grandchildren Matthew Gaspar, Kristina Bourgeois Lambos, Jason Bourgeois, Troy and Steven Sons, and Robert, Chris and Joey Trainer; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Cecil W. Trainer; her parents Ursula and Gottlieb Reitmier; and infant daughter Jaqueline Ursula Duval; her first husband Nolan A. Duval; and her dear friend Annie Marie Shely. Maria and Cecil were owners of Quality Diesel Services, Inc. since 1987. After his death, she continued to operate the business until her sudden onset of illness. The business is still in operation today. Maria was an active member of St. Mary AARP. Maria will be truly missed by everyone especially her caregivers for the last several months Mrs. Lee Esther Johnson and her daughter Andrea. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home; continuing Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the funeral home from 8:00 am until dismissal at 9:30 am. Mass will begin at 10:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Maria will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
