Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1007.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson for Mrs. Raissa "Raja" Luzenko Armond, 86, a native of Kalanzak, Ukraine and a resident of Patterson for the past 49 years, who passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010, at 3:45 PM at the Patterson Health Care Center. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Tim Richard will officiate the services. Mrs. Raissa is survived by two daughters, Helen Sick and her husband, Francis, of Gibson, and Cynthia Vinning and her companion, John Anthony Brown, of Patterson; 13 grandchildren, Jim Richard, Conrad Richard and his fiancˇ, Bridget, Cody Cirard, Yvette Boudreaux, Lynette Morris and her husband, John, Carisa Waguespack and her husband, Thomas, Melissa Dudoussat and her husband, Dion, Raissa Fuselier and her husband, Byron, Alicia Garner and her husband, Richard, Coral Adams and her husband, David, Christina Wallace, Louis Wallace, and Richard Wallace, Jr. and his wife, Constance; 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Armond; her parents, Evon and Polly Luzenko; one daughter, Maxine Wallace; one grandson, Shannon Richard; one son-in-law, Clarence Vinning, Jr.; one grandson-in-law, Floyd Boudreaux; and by her brothers and sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, July 7, from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson.
