Marlene Jenkins, age 72, a resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, July 24th at 
Teche Regional Medical Center @ 1430.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ephesian Baptist Church, 
Saturday,@ Siracusaville Recreation Center, July 31st from 9:00 AM until funeral 
at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in the Morgan City Cemetery

MERT leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Edgar "EJ" Charles, Jr. and 
Lenny Jenkins both of Morgan City, La., two daughters, Carol Ann Gamble of 
Houston, Tx. and Tabitha Jenkins of Morgan City; three brothers, Burnell Gray, 
Jr. of San Francisco, Calif., Athur Gray, Jr. of Patterson and Dwayne "FOOT" 
Gray of Morgan City ; four sisters, Adele Brashear, Gladys Ruffin & Sheila 
Washington all of Morgan City and Mary Esther Baytop of San Francisco, Calif and 
a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a son.
