Geraldine "Gerry" Jones died Wednesday, July 21st at Franklin Foundation 
Hospital at 8:44 AM.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 24th at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin 
from 11:00 AM, rosary will be recited at 1:30 Pm until funeral at 2:00 PM. 
Interment will be held in the church cemetery. The repast will be held at The 
Lampost, 735 Main St. Franklin, La.

Gerry graduated from St. Mary Parish Negro Training School in 1940, attended 
Southern University for two years. She worked at Gibb's Pharmacy, George Beverly 
Cab Stand, and a teacher for twenty-three years at Peter Pan Headstart Center.

Gerry is survived by her children, Gary and his wife, Elaine; Diane and her 
husband Gary; her grandchildren,Derrick Jones and his wife, Kendra; Christopher 
Jones, John Francis Jones, Suzanne Wiltz, Jonas Wiltz and his wife, Meredith 
Grasso; her great-grandchildren, Rakim and Kamea Jones; and a loving extended 
family as well as friends, co-workers, and fellow church members.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mariah Myler, her 
parents, Jonas and Fannie Myler Jones; her eldest child Richard Harris and the 
fathers of her children, Richard Harris and Salvador Dimicelli.
