Collins LaSalle, age 94, a native and resident of Patterson, La., died Saturday, 
July 17th at Patterson Health Care at 4:35 AM following a long illness.

Collins was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in World 
War II, a carpenter for the St. Mary Parish School Board, and a member of The 
American Legion Post in Patterson.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 22nd, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Patterson from 8:00 AM until l0:00 AM, rosary at 10:15 AM, with reflection until 
funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Joseph Mausoleum.

Collins was survived by; his wife of 64 years, Dorothty Vilo LaSalle of 
Patterson, La.; six children, Karla Christine LaSalle Blunt (Alexander Blunt, 
Sr.) of Marrero, La., Charles A. LaSalle (Rose B. LaSalle), Carlton S. LaSalle 
(Monica A. LaSalle), Chief Patrick M. LaSalle (Joanne S. LaSalle), Collins 
LaSalle, Jr. all of Patterson, La., and Paulette LaSalle Row (Clyde Rowe) of 
Lee's Summit, Missouri; one sister, Alzena LaSalle Boutte of Baton Rouge, La.; 
one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, eleven grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Collins was preceded in death by his parent, three sisters and two 
grandchildren.
