MANGANO, ELEANOR "TOOTSIE" 

Eleanor "Tootsie" Mangano, 92, a resident of Cleveland, Tenn., and formerly of Morgan City, passed away Thursday evening in a local healthcare facility.

She was the daughter of the late Catherine Larose Dupree and Alex Dupree. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mangano; her brothers, Flores Dupree, Kemper Dupree and Earl Dupree; and her sister, Lillian Aucoin.

She enjoyed cooking and attended Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include her daughter, Rosetta Vaughn and her husband, A. J., of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandsons, Mika Vaughn Sr. and his wife, Kathy, of Cleveland, Tenn., and Timothy Vaughn and his wife, Sheila, of Charlotte, N. C.; great-grandchildren, Mika Vaughn Jr. and Cody Vaughn, both of Cleveland, Tenn., and Adam Vaughn of Charlotte, N. C.; sisters, Azalee Nope and Iona Schmerber, both of Cleveland, Tenn., and Bethel Ray of Jackson, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Memorial Service was conducted Saturday July 3, 2010, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Kenneth Nope officiating and special singing by Jerry and Andrea Jett.

Interment will be at a later date.
