Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1007.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Robert "Eugene" Riley, born in Kermit, Texas, and a resident of Stephensville, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Teche Regional Medical Center, at the age of 53. Eugene loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family and cherished every moment spent with them; his family was always a big fan of his famous spaghetti that he cooked; he enjoyed crawfishing, going to the camp, listening to country music, drinking coffee with his father-in-law every day, and would do anything he could for anyone whether he knew them or not. Eugene was a member of Healing Stream Ministries and had a good relationship with God knowing that was his Savoir. Those left behind to cherish his memories are the love of his life for 30 years, Charlotte Loffin Riley of Stephensville; two daughters Kelly Riley of Bayou L'Ourse, and Kristy Riley of Morgan City; two brothers Dewey Riley and his wife Laura of Morgan City and Fred Riley and his wife Rosalie of Bayou Vista; one sister Donna Catrett and her husband Marvin of Houma; four grandchildren that meant the world to him Thomas Giroir, Jr., Jocelynn Giroir, Aedynn Chellette, and Faith Chellette all of Bayou L'Ourse; his father-in-law Franklin Pearce, Sr. of Stephensville; and his brother-in-laws Franklin Pearce, Jr. and his wife Betty of Stephensville, Eugene Pearce and his wife Julie of Morgan City, Todd Pearce and his wife Veronica of Labadieville, and Casey Pearce of Morgan City; and numerous family and friends. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents Dewey & Nora Riley; and his mother- in-law Sandra Pearce. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Friday, July 23, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home; continuing Saturday, July 24, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Eugene will be laid to rest in The Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
