Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family fishing and motorcycle riding. He was also a very enthusiastic shopper of treasures at flee markets. Thomas will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Thomas is survived by his wife Teana Rivet, his son Isaiah Rivet, his daughter Amy Rivet and son-in-law Larry Goo; grandchildren Jude Robinson, Kelli and Courtlyn Rivet and Gavin and Michael Goo; parents Barbara and Thomas Rivet Jr.; sister Tina Johnson, Twin sister Donna R. DiMaggio and brother-in-law Darryl DiMaggio Jr.; nieces Courtney and Tiffany Johnson and Melody DiMaggio; nephew Darryl DiMaggio III; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Rivet IV; paternal grandparents, William and Jeanne Brown; maternal grandparents, Edith and Alvin Ackerman Sr.; and brother-in-law Edward "Johnny" Johnson III. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home starting at 6pm until 9pm and resume at 8am until 9:30am on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the funeral home. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 10am and he will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass.
