Ruffin, a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson, was a homemaker. Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson. She will be buried in the church cemetery. Ruffin is survived by two sons, Gregory I. Johnson Sr. of Morgan City and Timothy I. Johnson of Gibson; three daughters, Gwendolyn J. Ingram of Houma, Peggy J. Evans of Morgan City and Melissa Henyard August of Patterson; four brothers, Belvin Ruffin and Floyd Ruffin, both of Gibson, Gerald Ruffin of Oakland and Peter Ruffin of Patterson; and one sister, Ruth Diggs of Oklahoma City; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ===================
