Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1007.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mrs. Christine Scott, 83, a native of Warren, Arkansas and a long time resident of Morgan City, Louisiana passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Dautrive Hospital in New Iberia. Christine, wife of Harvey Scott, was a loyal and active member of The First Baptist Church of Morgan City and was in charge of doing what she loved....the kitchen committee. She was in charge of the church socials for many years. She was a former executive secretary to the administrator of Dautrive Hospital in New Iberia and Lakewood Hospital in Morgan City, church secretary at Highland Baptist in New Iberia and a long time garden club member. Christine enjoyed cooking and caring for the love of her life...her family. Christine is survived by her husband Harvey, a son Gerald and his wife Jean of New Iberia, a daughter-in-law Faye Bonnette Scott of Bossier City and a sister Ila Jean Melton of Keithville, Louisiana, five grandchildren, Katie of Lafayette, Michael of New Iberia, Robert L. Scott and wife Shelly, Lisa Scott Beauboeuf and husband Brett and Kristy Scott Gilpin and husband Brandon, and 5 great grandchildren and many friends who will cherish her memory. She is preceded in death by her parents Rucker and Ollie Mosley and her son Bobby Scott. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City continuing Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Morgan City. She will be laid to rest in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Pineville, Louisiana with a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
