Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Ms. Jackie was a true lady. She was a hard worker and tried her best to instill those same attributes in all that she came in contact with. She always had a word of wisdom and a heart full of love to give, even if you didn't want to receive it. She was very active in the Franklin Community, committing years of service to the Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, the Golden Age Club, the Council on Aging, and anything associated with Oaklawn Manor, where she was employed for many years. Her hobbies included painting ceramics, baking anything with her grandchildren, tending to her flowers, and carrying on the grafting and cultivating of her father's beautiful camellias. She loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed, but has left us all with the peace of seeing her again through her life that she committed to Christ and through the promise of his word. Ms. Jackie is survived by one son, Patrick W. Turner of Petal, MS; one daughter, Angela "Angie" Keenze of Petal, MS; four grandchildren, Joey Turner and his wife, Dawn, William Turner and his wife, Charo, Aimee Darden, and Ashlee Pearce and her husband, Keith; one daughter-in-law, Cherry Lynn Turner of Petal, MS; one nephew, Larry S. Fairchild and his wife, Carol, of Lafayette; two nieces, Camilla Drobish of Lafayette, and Pamela Dupaque and her husband, Edward, of Houston, TX; and six great grandchildren, Emilee R. Darden, 16, Lane R. Pearce, 13, Maloree K. Darden, 11, Slayden O. Pearce, 8, Cannon W. Turner, 4, and Gunner J. Jeske, 3. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael P. Turner; her parents, Joseph W. "Jack" Olivier and Leanora Romero Olivier; one sister, Palmere Olivier Fairchild; and one great granddaughter, Averee Lynn Darden. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Saturday, July 10, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption, with the rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
