BURGESS, KENNETH, SR. 
(September 4, 1955 - August 2, 2010)

Kenneth Burgess, Sr., age 54, a resident of Charenton, died Monday, August 2, at 
2:00 AM at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.

Visitation will be observed, Tuesday, August 10th, at St. John Baptist Church in 
Charenton from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the St. John 
Cemetery.

Kenneth was survived by his wife, Dianne Collins Burgess of Charenton; three 
sons, Dwayne Collins, Kenneth Burgess, Jr., and Billy Burgess all of Charenton; 
a daughter, Miechea Burgess-Layton of Okinawa, Japan; three brothers, Conrad 
Burgess, Jr. of Charenton, Ivory Burgess of Oceanside, Calif., and Harvery 
Burgess of San Diego, Calif; two sisters, Verlia Collins of Calif and Ara Ann 
Bullock of Houston, Tx., and seven grandchildren.
