Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1008.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Curtis Thomas Comeaux September 22, 1917 - August 3, 2010 Mr. Curtis Thomas Comeaux, a native of Avoca Island, La and a long time resident of Marrero, La and a resident of Morgan City for the past 30 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2010 at Morgan City Health Care Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Jules Comeaux and Philomise Robicheaux Comeaux and by his wife of 52 years, Thelma Moore Comeaux, 3 brothers Rivers Comeaux, Edward Comeaux and Moise Comeaux and a nephew Andrew McClelland, all of Morgan City. He is survived by 1/2 sister Wanda McClelland and husband, Bob of Morgan City, his step-daughter Barbara Bertucci and husband Pete, of Marrero, one step granddaughter, 4 step great- grandchildren, 2 step great-great-grandchildren, niece and caregiver, Audrey Comeaux and special friend, Josie Folse as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. He was retired after many years working as a boiler maker for Dixie Machines in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Comeaux was an active member of the Golden Age Club of Morgan City and twice served as King of their annual ball. Family wishes to thank Dr. Francis Metz, III, E. R. staff and 6th floor nurses at Teche Regional Medical Center, Southern Care Hospice of Houma, Morgan City Health Care Center, and caregivers Roberta Mire and Marie Toups. Visitation will be at Hargrave Funeral Home on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 8 AM until 11 AM followed immediately by a Catholic Prayer service at the funeral home at 11 AM. Curtis will be laid to rest in The Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
