DAVID, CYNTHIA 
Feb. 6, 1947 ~ Aug. 11, 2010

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at an 11 a.m. Mass of 
Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of 
Cynthia Faulk David, 63, who died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 surrounded by family.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda 
and Father Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

"Queenie" was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and teacher who will be 
missed by all who knew her. Cindy was an educator at Mt. Carmel Elementary 
School for 27 years.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Herschel David of Abbeville; 
daughter, Collette Vaccarella and her husband Joseph of Franklin; sons, Drew 
David and his wife Rachael of Abbeville, Lance David and his wife Danielle of 
Abbeville and Brooks David and his wife Hope of Kaplan; grandchildren, Aaron, 
Caroline, Grant, Ryan, Jacob, Sarah and Anna Grace David of Abbeville, Cooper 
and Tucker David of Kaplan and Cecily and Jack Vaccarella of Franklin; brothers, 
Keith Faulk, Johnny Faulk and his wife Kattie, Kevin Faulk and his wife Nell and 
Shawn Faulk and his wife Dorothy; and sisters, Jackie Hoover and her husband 
Louis, Gwen Herpin and her husband Charles, Margaret Hargrave and Tracy Suire 
and her husband Stan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Dorothy Meaux Faulk of 
Kaplan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 
Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 9 
p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 from 8 a.m. 
until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.

All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of 
Abbeville (337) 893-4661.
