Visitation will be held at St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson, Saturday, August 28th from 9:00 AM until funeral time at 1:00 PM. Burial in the Franklin Cemetery Brenda leaves to cherish her memories; her parents, Rev. & Mrs. Joseph Fields of Ceneterville; one daughter, Sherita (Leo) Gradley of Franklin; one son, Maxie (Suzette) Ely, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev; four sisters, Shelia (Larry) Jones of Verdunville, Debra (Ricky) Thomas of Centerville, Cynthia (Wallace) Fleming of Franklin and Pamela (Allen) Randle of Garden City; three brothers, Vernon (Betty) Fields of Belle Rose, Melvin (Sylvia) Fields of Patterson, and Wilfred (Angela) Fields of Garden City; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Ely, Sr. ===================
