Visitation will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Saturday, August 14th from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial in Morgan City Cemetery. Jason was an active member in his church (Men's Ministry), a mason member (St. John Lodge#11) and a Biddy Basketball coach. He was a point guard on Jeanerette Senior High Basketball Team and agraduate of the class of 1985. He attended University of Southwestern Louisiana of Lafayette for two years. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family, fishing, being a handyman and his pride and joy was detailing his Chevy Silverado Truck. He was employed at Bay Offshore in Amelia. Memories last forever and we will forever cherish the precious memories that we have shared with Jason as we celebrated his life. These memories will live on in the hearts of his wife, Eartha Lewis of Morgan City, three daughters: LaToya Lee of Raceland, La., Jakeshia and Jasaula Lewis both of Morgan City, one sone: Jason Charles Lewis, Jr. of Morgan City, four sisters; Roxanne Humphrey of Morgan City, Raynel Humphrey of Amelia, Leslie (Anthony)Rideaux of New Iberia, and Stephanie G. Jones of Franklin,; two brothers: Earl Charles Lewis, Jr., of Morgan City and Jubria A. Lewis of Washington, DC; Mother, Ms. Louella R. Lewis of Jeanerette, Mother-in-law, Ms. Clara Watkins of Lafayette, fatherin-law, Willie Lee, Sr., of New Iberia., three aunts, Norma Lewis Pourciau of Jeanerette, Irene Louise Williams of Houston, Mary Singleton of Morgan City, three brothers-in-law: Willie (Angela)Lee, Jr., Michael (Trenette)Lee, Sr., of Franklin, and Sterling Griffin of Lafayette, two sisters-in-law: Shantel (Brian) Griffin and Jessica Griffin of Lafayette, two godchildren: KaMaya Williams of Patterson, and Lanesa Thomas of Morgan City and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. ===================
