Gena Marie Plessala, 48, a native of Morgan City passed away at her residence on 
Saturday, August 14, 2010.

Gena was a dedicated and loving caregiver for her mother and others that needed 
assistance. She loved people and enjoyed their company. She enjoyed playing 
cards and an occasional outing with her mom to the local casino. Her much loved 
puppy "Bo" was also special to her. 

She especially enjoyed her friendship with Morris and her loving nieces (2) and 
nephews (3).

Gena is survived by two brothers: Timothy Plessala and his life partner Carol, 
and Renny Plessala and his wife Theresa all of Jacksonville, Florida and her 
mother Olga Falgout Plessala of Morgan City.

She is preceded in death by her father Jerry Paul Plessala, and two brothers 
Jerry, Jr. and Donald Plessala.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at 
Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., continuing Wednesday 
from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City 
Cemetery.
