Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1008.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Helen Verrett Theriot, 78, a native of Stephensville, and a resident of Hurley, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 after a brief illness at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Helen was a member of Hurley Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, daughter, & sister. She was an avid Who Dat and LSU fan. Helen was a person who never met a stranger. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband Erroll "Joe" Theriot of Hurley, Miss; two sons Perel and his wife Yvonne Legendre, Sr. of Gray, LA, and Craig A. and his wife Angela Legendre of Schriever, LA; two daughters Crystal and her husband Collins Pellegrin of Amelia, LA, and Collette and her husband Jon Eure of Vancleave, Miss; six grandchildren Stephanie and her husband Kermit Duck, Dodie and her husband Steven Burnett, Perel and his wife Terri Legendre, Jr., Hope Legendre and her fiancˇ Ismael Morales, Meagan Legendre, and Craig V. Legendre; her great-grandchildren Trey, Talyn, and Sage Legendre, Deja Legendre Morales, Aiden and Evan Duck and Chad and Carter Ayzinne; two step children Lauren and her husband Mark Ruiz, and Hunter Theriot; two step- grandchildren Ian & Brittney Ruiz; one brother Gilven and his wife Roberta Verrett; someone she looked at as a daughter Ann Delaune; her babies (cats) Jaz & Priscilla; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her father Adley Verrett; her mother Josephine Eve Verrett; one sister Marion Duval; and one brother Newton Verrett. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home; continuing Monday, August 23, 2010 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am; with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Helen will be laid to rest in The Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
