Notilia Margaret Deroche Triche, born in Bourg, LA, and a resident of Gibson, 
passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 in Mamou, LA, at the age of 89. 

Notilia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-
great-grandmother that enjoyed caring for her large family; being a thrifty and 
giving person she could do large things with little. She gave her time and 
energy to anyone in need. 

Notilia is survived by three sons Russell Triche of New Mexico, Freddie Triche 
of Morgan City, and David Triche of Pine Prairie, LA; seven daughters Pearline 
Adams of Gibson, Geraldine Randall of Houma, Mary Aucoin of Lafayette, Sue 
Dupree of Donner, Janice Pollett of Shriever, Katy Guillory of Easton, LA, and 
Jackie Oliver of Gibson; three sisters Betty Giroir of Lafayette, Elma Leblanc 
of Oakdale, and Marion Richard of Oakdale; one brother James Deroche of 
Boonsville, Ark; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-
great-grandchildren. 

Notilia is preceded in death by her parents James and Ella Arceneaux Deroche; 
her husband Haywood John Triche; 5 brothers; and 2 grandchildren Robie Lynn 
Adams Sauce, and Charles Theriot. 

Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6:00 
pm until 9:00 pm; continuing Friday, August 13, 2010 from 9:00 am until 
dismissal at 10:15 am at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Funeral services 
will be at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gibson, LA.
Notilia will be laid to rest in The Gibson Cemetery.
