Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1009.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Rudolph "Rudy" DeHart, a native of Deer Island Bayou, and a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Teche Regional Hospital, at the age of 81. Rudy served his Country proudly in the Korean Conflict. Rudy is survived by his wife of 55 years Jeanette LeBlanc DeHart; three daughters Trudy and her husband Henry Harrington, Addie and her husband Terry Adams, and Judy Walters; two granddaughters Haley Harrington and Krista Walters; three grandsons Bryce Harrington, Zane Adams, and Andre' Adams; one great- granddaughter Myra Walters; two brothers Alvy DeHart, and Rogers DeHart, Sr. Rudy is preceded in death by a daughter Janet DeHart; his parents Malcolm and Laura Eve Aucoin DeHart; one sister Lorenza DeHart Moore; and three brothers Evans DeHart, Avery DeHart, and Algie DeHart. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Monday, September 13, 2010, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 1:00 pm. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will conduct full Military graveside Honors. Rudy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
