Greg will be remembered for the great love and passion that he shared with his wife, Susie Aycock Fleniken. Greg was the Vice President of OGM Land Company in Beaumont, TX. While he worked weekdays away from home, he took great pleasure in returning home on the weekends. It was at home that Greg joined his wife and welcomed guests from all around the world to their Bed & Breakfast Inn. Guests will certainly remember him as a welcoming gentleman and one who embraced them in a home of warmth. In addition to his wife and those he worked closely with on a daily basis, Greg will be remembered as a devoted son, a wonderful brother, a loving uncle and a tremendous friend. He touched so many lives, even those who came into his life as a stranger. They certainly didn't leave that way. Survivors include his beloved wife, Susan Aycock Fleniken; mother, Jane N. Fleniken of Lafayette; two sisters, Cindi Baxter and her husband, John, of Lafayette and Sondra Young of Mena, Arkansas; one brother, Michael Fleniken and his wife, Connie Walton, of Burton, Texas; brothers-in-law, Jody Aycock and his wife, June, of Lafayette, Dr. Ken Aycock and his wife, Sandra, of Franklin and Larry Aycock and his wife, Kathy, of Lafayette; sisters-in-law, Barbara "Tateen" Ory and her husband, Dr. Dirk Ory of Thibodaux and Mary Margaret Valls and her husband, Michael Valls of New Iberia; and his mother-in-law, Elaine C. Aycock of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll J. Fleniken. A Memorial Service was held Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at 2 p.m., in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette.
