Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at 3:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary for David Leonard, 50, a native and resident of Franklin, who passed 
away Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 6:15 PM at the Franklin Foundation 
Hospital.

Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. Rev. Brad Bullock will 
officiate the services.

David is survived by his mother, Bernadette Charpentier Paul of Franklin; two 
brothers, Michael Leonard of Franklin and Dallas Paul Leonard, Jr. of Franklin; 
three sisters, Patricia Louviere and husband, Steven, of Franklin, Dolores 
Derouen and her husband, L. J., of Jeanerette, and Deborah Breaux and her 
husband, Robert, of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Paul Leonard, Sr.; his step-
father, Eolours Paul; and by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at 
Ibert's Mortuary from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
