MCCLARITY, HERBERT 

Mr. Herbert B. McClarity, 71, a resident and native of Franklin, died Sunday, 
Sept. 5, 2010, at 5:40 a.m., at Iberia Extended Care Hospital following a short 
illness.

He is survived by his wife, Ida J. McClarity of Franklin; one son, Bernard 
McClarity of Houston; one daughter, Vanessa M. McClarity of Houston; one sister, 
Delores McClarity of Franklin; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Mr. McClarity was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and six brothers.

Visitations will be observed Thursday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Otis 
Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Thursday, at 2 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. 
W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Jules Cemetery in 
Franklin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
