Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at 2:00 PM at 
Ibert's Mortuary for Mrs. Velta Breaux Tyler, 81, a native of Abbeville and a 
resident of Franklin, who passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 1:12 PM at 
Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Fr. Lloyd Benoit will officiate the 
service.

Mrs. Velta is survived by three daughters, Glenda Arnaud Stone and her husband, 
Wayne, of Houston, TX, Rita Arnaud of Franklin, and Julie Arnaud Cordova and her 
husband, David, of Franklin; one sister, Genevieve Campice of Abbeville; four 
grandchildren, Brooke Chaffee and her husband, Neil, Brian Cordova, Todd Cordova 
and his wife, Nicole, and Lauren Leskinen; four great grandchildren; Caitlin, 
Devyn, Travis, Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Louis Tyler; her parents, Artia 
Breaux and Olita Peltier Breaux; four brothers; and four sisters.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 8, at 
Ibert's Mortuary from 11:00 AM until 1:45 PM.
