Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1009.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City for Eva Dell Billiot Whipple, 79, a native and resident of Morgan City. Evadell was born October 25, 1930, to Eva and Edgar Grow, and returned to her home with the Lord on September 6, 2010. She spent her final moments surrounded by her loving family and friends. Eva Dell was known for helping and giving to others even when she didn't have much to give. She always kept her promises, spoke her mind, and never took anyone's generosity for granted. Eva Dell was a Devout Catholic, a member of Come Lord Jesus, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 242, AARP, Our Lady Star of the Sea, and Council on Aging. She will always be remembered for her strong faith in the Lord and her amazing bread pudding. Eva Dell is survived by nine sons: Robert and Cris Billiot of Ingleside, TX; Eugene and Feri Billiot of Corpus Christi, TX; Bertrand and Regina Billiot of Plano, TX; Edwine and Anita Billiot, John Billiot, Paul and Dolores Billiot, Timothy and Renee Billiot, Patrick and Debbie Billiot, and Joseph and Tammy Billiot all of Morgan City, LA; three daughters: Elizabeth Billiot Cooper and Tobin Cooper of Houma, LA; Eva Dell Billiot Randall, and Mary Billiot Macklin of Morgan City, LA. Evadell also leaves behind 41 grandchildren, 50 great-grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Edgar Grow and Eva Young Grow, her first husband Robert Billiot Sr., her second husband Waylon Whipple, two sisters, and three brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, September 10, 2010, at Twin City Funeral home from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Visitations will resume Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with mass to follow at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Morgan City Cemetery. Eva Dell will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. ===================
