Broussard in New Iberia. He departed this life on Sept. 30, 2010, at 3:29 p.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Verdunville, and was an active member of the Knights of Peter Claver Council No. 124. He leaves to cherish his memories a brother, Alfred Broussard Sr.; a sister, Gladys Landry Pellerin; a devoted nephew, Harold Paul Jr.; a devoted niece, Loretta Broussard Booker; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Arthur Broussard Sr., Wilfred Broussard Sr., Earl Sterling, Willie Sterling, Joseph Provost Sr., Lawrence Landry Sr.; and three sisters, Gloria Landry Paul, Mary Elodie Broussard and Mary Odette Broussard Paul. Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Verdunville. An offertory by the Knights will be held at 10 a.m., with a rosary to follow. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., with Father Thomas Vu officiating.
